Rural Life Maternity Photo Shoot
Typically maternity photo shoots are soft, fluffy and relatively free of sweat and dirt. This was not one of those shoots. The idea behind this photo shoot was to pay homage to all the women that have done many labor intensive jobs through the years in spite of being very pregnant. When I first pitched this idea to the model, Jordan Fisher, she ran with it, and had a ton of great ideas and a great location. We did the photo shoot on her grandmother’s small ranch where she often helps out.
The MUAH on this shoot was Samantha Fernandez of Eyes Lie Makeup. Her background in special effects made her the perfect choice for getting the dirty, grungy look we were going for, and she was a lot of fun to work with.
